This Bushcraft green wood working experience for up to 4 guests offers a one day woodland workshop that covers a wide range of carving techniques and safe tool techniques aiming to send you home with your own hand carved wooden spoons and bowls.

What's it about

Firstly you'll need to know how to identify trees suitable for working with & sustainably source, harvest and produce your own wood to make spoon and bowl blanks.

From there you'll be guided through how to safely use the tools needed to make your projects, including the technical knowledge to help you take the skills home. You won't need any tools but if you do have your own please feel free to bring them and we can advise you if needed on there suitability.

Whether your a practiced carver or beginner this is a must have workshop not just to understand the principles of greenwood working and carving but to take your carving to the next level beyond functionality and towards an intricate piece of craft work.

These skills are essential to any aspiring Woodsman or Bushcrafter especially and most importantly these craft principles are scalable so whether your craft project is a spoon, bowl, bow stave or paddle you'll be able to make and produce any of your small or large Woodcraft projects.

Set in our beautiful private woodlands this is a real opportunity to come and refocus in the woods and enjoy working with your hands around the camp fire.

Duration

The course is run over 1 day starting at 9am (arrival 0830) finishing at 0530pm that evening. 

Camping 

Woodland camping is included at no extra cost if you want to arrive the night before at no extra cost. Please let us know if you intend to camp. 

Fees

The cost of this course is £450 up to Four clients. We will invoice for the remaining £350 6-4 weeks prior to the course start date. The deposit guarantees your place or group on the course. If you have a larger group or would like a bespoke day please email us to discuss your requirements.

Non catered. Tea and coffee will be available.

Details 

The course is set entirely in the outdoors under the cover of canvas tarps. Appropriate warm outdoor clothing is required.

This is a adult course only, however if accompanied by a parent or guardian 14+ can attend.
