Designed by myself after using cabinet scrapers for many many years and never quite finding the one that does the job or buying sets of three or four to do the job, I often found I was making my own jigs and tooling to do the task in hand in the workshop and woods. Hence this two handed scraper. Made locally to me in East Sussex not in China or the like, this is a high quality tool steel that'll be a life long go to tool whilst working with wood in just about any format. 

The Two handed scraper crucially allows you to comfortably lock up the work peice in a clamp and avoid repetitive strain injuries from working with one hand, I can testify to this from first hand experience! A big driver for me to design and use a two handed scraper was to protect my inner arm at the elbow, as working one handed for a decade on Traditional Bow Making courses and in the workshop had left my dominant arm in a bit of a state! 

The scraper also combines everything you want in one as oppose to buying four different designs all of which are two small for two handed use. A concave section allows you to shape the rounded belly of a longbow or a chair leg for example. The two convex ears at each end are great for getting into those difficult to access areas where precision is needed and the flat side ideal for larger flat work pieces and rounding. All edges can be easily bevelled over/sharpened with a 1/8" round chainsaw file or one of the many bevelling tools available. A simple round file is all we tend to use or need. The burred edges can be as fine or aggressive as you like, the concave section on my personal scraper acts more like a spoke shave than a scraper. Ideal for large wood removal.
